SPEKTRA Decor Topaz is a water-based decorative coating enriched with special gold or silver pearl pigments that create a shimmering metallic effect. Depending on the application technique, it can produce soft or pronounced iridescent reflections that shift depending on the angle of light and viewing perspective. The surface appears luxurious yet subtle—the interplay of shine and softness gives the space a sense of sophisticated dynamics.

Perfect Application for a Refined Effect

For a perfect final appearance and good adhesion of the decorative coating, precise substrate preparation is essential. The surface must be clean, dry, and smooth; if necessary, it should be impregnated and levelled. Next, apply the primer SPEKTRA Decor Grund, which ensures excellent adhesion of new layers even on smooth and less absorbent surfaces.

This is followed by the application of decorative coatings SPEKTRA Decor Topaz or SPEKTRA Decor Quarz. They are applied with a wide brush in even crisscross strokes in all directions, creating a multidimensional effect and transitions between rough and smooth surfaces. The strokes should be shorter, as this makes it easier to achieve an even appearance, and the pattern should be shaped immediately after application. When the coating begins to dry, it can be “smoothed” again with a soft brush to achieve the desired look—from soft, subtle light transitions to more pronounced texture. For larger surfaces, it is recommended that two people apply and smooth the coating, ensuring an even result.
